PROFESSOR. FRANK PATSON TAILOKA

VICE CHANCELLOR

 

Frank P. Tailoka is the Vice Chancellor of Mukuba University and a Professor of Mathematics with over four decades of distinguished service in academia, executive leadership, and educational governance. He began his academic career in September 1985 as a Staff Development Fellow at the University of Zambia, Ndola Campus. He is widely recognized as an expert Mathematics examiner and is an Honorary Member of the Zambia Mathematics Association, reflecting his significant contributions to mathematics education through authorship and co-authorship of publications in Mathematics and Statistics at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels.

In addition to his scholarly work, Professor Tailoka has held senior academic and administrative leadership positions, including Dean of the School of Business and Dean of the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the Copperbelt University. At the national level, he serves as Chairperson of the Board of the Examinations Council of Zambia. He holds a Doctorate in Statistics and Operations Research from the University of Essex, an MSc in Mathematics from Washington State University, and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Zambia.
