CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER PROFILE

Mweemba Mulunda (Mr.) is the Chief Financial Officer for Mukuba University. He is a seasoned finance professional with close to three decades of service in both the private and public sectors, notably the last six years being in academic institutions. He began his career in December 1998 as an Audit Associate with PriceWaterhouseCoopers (Kitwe Office). With that firm background, he went on to work for other private companies in Kitwe and Ndola where he held, at sundry times, the position of Finance Manager for Pump Logistics & Services  (now called Weir) and Mukuba Hotel/ Zambia International Trade Fair, respectively. In the recent past, he served as Bursar for the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) and Chief Financial Officer for ZCAS University, which positions he served with great distinction.

From the corporate governance perspective, he is a member of the Finance and Administration Committee of the Board of Trustees for Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre (KGRTC). He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Oxford Brookes University (UK) and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the Copperbelt University (Zambia). He is a Fellow of both the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA).
